American Idol contestant Casey Abrams was rushed to hospital earlier in the week with sudden stomach pain but he is determined to keep singing! Out of the hospital he was planning on being on Friday’s taping of the top 12 men’s performances, thus maintaining his spot in the top 24 Idol hopefuls.
“He is performing tonight,” a source close to the show tells PEOPLE. “He had some stomach pains but he will perform.” As for what caused the sudden severe stomach pains nobody is exactly sure. “I don’t think we’ve ever seen a musician as talented as yourself,” Randy Jackson told him on Thursday’s episode. “It’s like three people in one.”
