The net is buzzing with Oscar predictions for the upcoming year with movies like The King’s Speech leading the way when it comes to Best Picture. It will be in tough as there were a lot of fantastic movies out in 2010, and it will vy for top honors against nominees: Black Swan, The Fighter, Inception, The Kids Are All Right, The King’s Speech, 127 Hours, The Social Network, Toy Story 3, True Grit and Winter’s Bone.
If I was in charge of handing out the Oscar for Best Picture, without a doubt I’d be giving it to The Social Network. Totally loved the movie, how it was put together, the fact that I watched it on a plane, and who can argue with the fact that a movie that details how a man came up with an idea that has changed the world as we know it should not get recognized in the most glamerous way?
