American Idol contestant and fan favorite Casey Abrams had to be rushed to hospital after he started experiencing severe stomach pain. The Melodica player has already made the top 24, but needs to be present for the taping of the top 12 guys episode tomorrow cause if he is not he will lose his spot.
A lot of the favorites to go far in the competition made the cut, including Julie Zorilla, Lauren Alaina, Jordan Dorsey, Pia Toscano and Jacob Lusk. Some surprising singers who made the cut were opera singer Rachel Zevita as well as James Durbin. Jessica Cunningham has tried out for Idol seven times and each time she has been given the boot, this time included as the judges sent her packing last night.
