The latest vehicle recall has been announced by Ford who have issued a recall for up to 150000 F-150 trucks because of airbag issues. The air bags have the risk of deploying without warning or cause, a potential danger that could result in serious accidents.
The trucks being recalled were sold in the United States and Canada between the years of 2005 and 2006. So far 77 cases of air bag deployment without cause have been reported, and the government had actually requested that trucks produced in 2004 also be recalled for this reason. F-150 trucks are the most popular truck sold in North America thus this recall is a major blow for Ford.
