Singer David Archuleta no longer has a record label as he has been dropped by Jive Records. He is only three years removed from finishing runner up on the seventh season of American Idol and had an amazing future, with his first album selling a million copies.
His second album, The Other Side of Down has tanked in a big way, selling only 60,000 copies since it was released in October. Many had actually pegged him to win American Idol, and he appeared poised to do just that but David Cook shocked the world when it was he who received 56% of more than 97 million votes to claim the crown.
