On the first of three nights of a very special Jeopardy tournament, Watson the IBM computer finished in a tie for first place with Brad Rutter. Watson bolted out to an early lead but then fumbled a little allowing the humans to catch up as the night came to a close.
Watson and Brad are tied for first with $5000 a piece while Ken Jennings has only $2,000 to his name. Double Jeopardy will be featured tomorrow night in which we will see if Watson can keep his 1 metal foot on the gas pedal and his other on the necks of his human opponents.
