When it comes to the most played love song in the UK, the winner hands down is Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis. The top love song numbers were compiled just in time for Valentine’s Day by PPL as people get in the love mood just in time for tomorrow’s momentus day.
One in 15 songs played on UK radio stations contain the word ‘love’ somewhere in their title. “Love truly is, and always has been, the subject which inspires much great music,” said Jonathan Morrish, PPL’s communications director. He added: “It is truly the most emotive subject and one which has inspired musicians through the ages.”
