Not long after her Super Bowl screw up, Christina Aguilera will be part of a tribute performance at the upcoming Grammy Awards for Aretha Franklin. Along with Jennifer Hudson, she will join Yolanda Adams, Martina McBride and Florence Welch for a tribute to the Queen of Soul, who has taken some time off after undergoing surgery in December.
“Rehearsals are going, and went, very well,” she told MTV News. “It’s a lot of fun,” Hudson continued. “And just being amongst the other ladies, and being around some of my favorite artists, and then tributing Aretha Franklin, it’s….surreal. And it’s a moment you just have to take in and enjoy….I’m like on cloud nine.”
