Singer/actress Jennifer Hudson will appear on Oprah today to talk about her recent weight loss as well as to perform her new single, “Where You At.” In the interview, taped earlier Hudson also talked about the tragic murders of her family members and the fact that this is the first time she has publically talked about her tragic loss.
Hudson was one of the stars during the third season of American Idol and although she did not win the title, she performed well enough to win herself a recording contract. Since that moment her career has taken off, resulting in acting roles in movies such as Dreamgirls in 2006.
