Getting up in front of thousands of people to sing is nothing new for Christina Aguilera, but messing up the words to the National Anthem sure is. This is exactly what she did when she sang the anthem before the Super Bowl game between Greenbay and Pittsburgh.
Instead of singing the line “O’er the ramparts we watch’d, were so gallantly streaming,” in its place she belted out: “What so proudly we watched at the twilight’s last reaming.” People at home and in the crowd were on it like voltures, taking to Twitter to joke about the incident. One funny tweet read: “Blowing the words of the anthem at the Super Bowl. Wow. Do they take away one of her five Grammys for that? Two?”
