It is being reported that Anderson Cooper was attacked while filming in Egypt. He and his crew were attacked by a group of political protesters who were demonstrating in favor of president Hosni Mubarak.
Cooper, 43, says that he is lucky to not be seriously hurt. “The attackers pushed and shoved the CNN crew and punched them in the head,” read a statement on CNN.com. Cooper was reportedly punched in the head more than 10 times but appears to be okay and is continuing to file reports from the country.
