Snow Prompts Closure Of DFW Airport

It takes a lot of bad to close down the DFW airport and Mother Nature did what she could to make this happen by dumping a ton of snow on the Dallas area. Midwestern states have been pounded with snow prompting the closure of schools, businesses and bringing traffic to a stand still.

For a short time the entire DFW airport was closed, but one runway has now reopened and crews are working frantically to clear snow from other runways. So far more than 300 flights have been canceled because of the weather, and it is not even noon yet. Passengers traveling through the DFW airport are advised to check that their flights are actually leaving today before trekking to the airport.
