One of the most popular amateur sporting events to take place each year is the Disney Marathon. Yesterday the half marathon wound its way through parts of Central Florida and this morning the full marathon was held.
An estimated 53,000 people from as many as 60 different countries travelled to Disney to participate in the fun event. Some crazy runners even took it upon themselves to run both the half marathon yesterday as well as the full marathon today. There was also a special section for wheelchair participants, and a blind runner even participated in the Sunday run.
