The new Mac App Store has just opened and already has more than 1000 apps for people to download. Apple are following in their own footsteps here after launching a wildly successful app store for their popular iPhone, the second most popular smartphone on the market.
The Mac App Store went live this morning launching in 90 different countries around the world. Mac owners can choose between paid and free apps from an array of different genres including games, design and education. People can buy apps through their iTunes accounts so there is no need to set up new accounts.
