Roberto Alomar Enters Baseball Hall Of Fame

The Baseball Hall of Fame has some new additions as legendary second baseman Roberto Alomar and pitcher Bert Blyleven have been voted in. Alomar received 90% of the votes, while Blyleven received 79.7% of the votes.

Many thought that Alomar would never see the inside of the famed hall after his spitting incident but the Baseball Writers Association overlooked the incident, voting the 10 time gold glover into the hall. Alomar had 2,724 hits over his career, and had a life time batting average of .300. Blyleven won 287 games and pitched 60 shutouts.
