Rocker Chuck Berry reportedly felt ill before taking to the stage in Chicago where he eventually collapsed. According to a concert goer, Berry, 84 slumped over while performing and was taken off stage for up to 20 minutes.
Steve Handwerker says that while sitting at his keyboard, Berry, who was giving a majorly out of tune performance, fell face first onto the instrument and had to be helped off stage. Upon stepping outside, Handwerker says he spotted an ambulance out back of the concert venue. Dick Alen, Berry’s agent has no information pertaining to the incident.
