Elton John and partner David Furnish are now the proud parents of a baby boy via surrogate. Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John came just in time for Christmas, born Christmas Day to a surrogate in California.
The couple had been forced to turn to a surrogate after their attempt to adopt a 14 month old baby with HIV was denied by the Ukraine government. “We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this special moment,” they told UsMagazine.com in a statement. “Zachary is healthy, doing really well,” they said. “And we are proud and happy parents.”
