Rex Grossman to Start Against Cowboys on Sunday

(ChatterShmatter) – When the Washington Redskins tangle with the Dallas Cowboys, Rex Grossman will be the one under center, not Donovan McNabb.

McNabb, who recently signed a huge contract extention with the Skins will watch Sunday’s game from the bench as Rex will get the start.

The Skins now want to take a look at all their quarterbacks after officially being eliminated from the season and according to coach Shanahan this is why he is benching the six-time Pro Bowl quarterback.

Backing up Rex on Sunday will be BYU’s John Beck, meaning that McNabb will drop to the third string QB.

McNabb ranks 25th in the league for quarterbacks this year, leading many to applaud the move to bench him.
