It is being reported that Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg has been named TIME Person of the Year.
Facebook is by far and away the leading social networking website on the internet, with more than 500 million registered users.
Zuckerberg, is both the founder and CEO of Facebook and at only 26 years of age he is the youngest to win the award since the first time it was given out.
He is one of the youngest billionairs in the world, and has no problem when it comes to donating money, recently pledging $100 million over five years to the Newark, N.J. school system.
“I’m trying to make the world a more open place,” Zuckerberg says in the “bio” line of his own Facebook page.
