Things will be getting a lot testier on future episodes of Dexter as it has been reported that offscreen partners Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are filing for divorce.
The couple, who got hitched on New Years Eve two years ago play brother and sister on the popular Showtime series featuring Dexter, AKA Michael working for the Miami Police Department as a blood spatter analyst by day and killing bad guys by night.
Reps for both parties have confirmed that the couple are indeed filing for divorce and that their split is of an amicable nature, but no word on their assets and how they plan to divide them.
In a joint statement to Entertainment Weekly, their reps said: ‘Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce.’
