On Saturday evening New York Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher tied the knot with Joanna Garcia.
Their wedding was one of the bigger ones as far as celebrity ceremonies go, with more than 375 guests showing up in Palm Beach, Florida to attend the evening festivities.
Garcia chose a Monique Lhuillier gown for her strut down the isle, and following the vows the wedding guests dined on a 7-teered $10,000 wedding cake.
The actress recently told Us Magazine that spending so much time apart from her man is actually not as hard as it may seem.
“This relationship’s been the easiest thing I’ve ever done,” Garcia explains. “It works out because we both have crazy schedules for a certain period of time in our lives, but for some reason it doesn’t conflict as much as one would think. Life’s good right now. We’re enjoying it.”
