It is being reported that the daughter of former Minnesota attorney General Mike Hatch, has been found dead in an apparent suicide.
Anne Hatch was found by authorities inside her condominium on Sunday at Chicago’s Miracle Mile and is believed to have killed herself.
Her exact cause of death is unknown at this time, but police are pretty sure that she took her own life.
The family released a statement: “This is a sad and painful time for our family,” the statement reads.
“Nothing in life can prepare you for the loss of a child. We are grateful for the outpouring of support and compassion we have received from so many people. We ask that our family’s privacy be respected at this very difficult time.”
Mike Hatch is currently working as an attorney in downtown Minneapolis.
