You’d never know that back in the day country singer Keith Urban was addicted to alcohol and cocaine.
Speaking with Oprah Winfrey, the singer admitted to having some very low lows but that his wife Nicole Kidman stuck by his side the entire time.
Back in 2006, he checked himself into a rehab facility and feared that by doing so he was putting an end to his marriage.
He said: “She really should have walked. I’m just glad she didn’t. She made a decision to initiate, ultimately, this intervention and the love that was in that room at that moment was just right.”
“I look back now and realize Nic has taught me so much and brought so much into my life and opened my eyes in so many ways…[This is] the best place I’ve ever been.”
