Following a second undefeated season, TCU has been invited to join the Big East.
The move includes all sports across the board, from football which is probably the most popular, to basketball.
Currently the Horned Frogs reside in the Mountain West Conference and would move over to the Big East following the 2011, 2012 year.
This would mean that the Big East would be home to nine football teams, of which currently only West Virginia is ranked in the top 25 in the country.
As for basketball, this would expand the conference to 17 teams, making it one of the larger conferences in the country.
