Less than a day after police discovered the body of missing college studentJenni Lyn Watson they have arrested her former boyfriend Steven Pieper.
Jenni-Lyn vanished on November 19 and ever since the entire country has been supporting for her whether it be by searching for her or by forming support groups on Facebook.
She disappeared after visiting her parents in Clay and police had centered their search for her near a wooded area where a call was made from her cellphone.
It was rumored that she had recently called off her engagement with Steven Pieper, 21, and those close to her say that he did not take the news well.
Said a friend: “She would talk to us, just saying, after they broke up, that he was trying to contact her and friend-request her on Facebook,” she said. “She was avoiding him.”
“We do not believe she left that house alive,” said Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick.
