The wife of George Lopez files for divorce
All good things must come to an end and this is exactly what will be happening to the marriage between comedian George Lopez and his wife of 17 years, Ann. The pair had previously announced their separation, but now they are taking it to the next and final level. Ann is the one that is apparently unhappy with the way things were going, filing divorce papers last week.
Ann filed her papers last Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing “irreconcilable differences” for her reason behind wanting a divorce. In her divorce petition, she is requesting spousal support, as well as primary custody of the couple’s teenaged daughter, Mayan. As for any talk of a prenuptual agreement, the couple did not sign one before tying their knot.
