The Jersey Shore has added a new cast member as MTV has officially announced Deena Nicole Cortese as the newest girl on the hit reality show.
The news was made official when it was announced by MTV at the Television Critics Association summer press conference.
She was introduced by MTV at the event, with details of the new cast member beginning to roll out.
So here is what we know so far, Deena Nicole Cortese is from New Jersey, and is 23-years-old.
She is from Ocean County originally, and has been hanging out with cast members quite a bit in Seaside Heights.
She has been heavily involved in the filming of the 3rd season of the hit show.
The expectation is that she will be a replacement of sorts for Angelina Pivarnick, who to say the least gets along with nobody on the cast.
Cortese joins the other cast members including Mike The Situation Sorrentino, Nicole Snooki Polizzi, and others.
The second season is currently airing on MTV and is enjoying an amazing level of success.
