Dwyane Wade To Be Batman, Lebron James Robin For The Miami Heat

Cavaliers Celtics BasketballMiami (ChatterShmatter) – Lebron James has clearly chosen the role of Robin as he has teamed up with the Batman of the Miami Heat, Dwyane Wade, along with Chris Bosh.

Lebron James has never been known as the type of guy who is a true leader.  When you go back in time and look at the real stars, they have all had one thing in common, they thrived in the spotlight, especially when the entire team decided to put the weight of the game on that player’s shoulders.

We have seen this in recent years with players such as Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Paul Pierce, Chauncey Billups, and others.  But with Lebron James, whenever the opportunity came to take that next step to being the man and winning an NBA championship, he has faultered.

He faultered back when he made it to the NBA Finals, he faultered when he lost to the Boston Celtics 3 years ago, again when losing to an inferior Orlando Magic team led by Dwight Howard, and then again to an aging Boston Celtics team this past season.

Lebron James is far from the type of character that can thrive in the role of Batman, and that is why he actually will succeed with Wade and the Miami Heat.

So for ESPN to showcase The Decision and a one-hour special about the greatest player in the NBA, is nothing but a mockery of the entire association.  When Lebron has more rings than Kobe, maybe you can then say he is the best player in the league, until then, they are wasting their time showing highlight clips from playoff series where Lebron ended up losing.

With the Miami Heat, Lebron James does not have to be the man, he does not have to have the entire spotlight on him, instead, he can take on a role where he can do his thing and not have to take the entire blame if something goes wrong.

Only time will tell if Lebron James will enjoy the role of Robin in the dynamic duo.  One thing is for sure though, Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, and Lebron James will be hard to beat no matter who is around him.

Miami Heat fans need not worry, Lebron James isn’t coming to south beach to steal the spotlight, and if he does, you’ll likely end up being disappointed.

Dwyane Wade is the man, the captain of the Miami Heat, and if Lebron really wants to win a championship, he’ll show up in the sunshine state with his best Robin uniform on.
