Washington (ChatterShmatter) – For those of you who have been trying to lose weight via Slim-Fast products, you should be made aware that a nationwide recall has been announced for certain types of the branded drinks.
The maker of Slim-Fast products, Unilever United States Inc. has announced a nationwide voluntary recall of their ready-to-go drinks.
The scary thing about this recall is that there is no Best-By date or certain product or can that has been hit.
This recall involves all Slim-Fast Ready-To-Drink canned products.
These are thankfully the only Slim-Fast products being hit, as those who eat the meal bars and such are not being affected here in any way.
The products that have been hit with this recall include cans of Slim-Fast that are shipped in cardboard cartons.
These cartons consist of a variety of cans of Slim-Fast, ranging from anywhere to 4 all the way up to 12 11-ounce cans.
The recall was due to a possible contamination of bacteria known as Bacillus cereus.
This can cause people to suffer from vomiting, nausea, as well as diarrhea.
