The Dark Knight shattered almost every box office record known. 300 broke several records during its launch. Now WB is at it yet again with another movie breaking even more records. Watchmen comes out on friday but is already breaking pre ticket sales and theater opening records.
The flick is rated R but will be opening in 3,611theaters, thats the most a rated R movie has ever opened in. Compared to the Zach Snyder 300 movie opening in 600 theaters at midnight, Watchmen will be opening with 1,600 theaters at midnight, again a record for a rater R flick.
This is very good news for WB and cheers to the Watchmen hitting theaters this friday!
