Review:
Here is a story everyone knows and loves and Disney allows us all to be kids again by releasing this two disc 45th Anniversary edition of Mary Poppins. By re-releasing this Disney classic this week they introduce the film to a whole new audience for them to fall in love just as we all did at one time.

The film itself and it’s music need no review, they are as Disney says magical. The classics, Spoonful of Sugar, Jolly Holiday and all the rest are here to sing along with.

The video is presented in Original Aspect Ratio format 1.66:1 which looks fantastic for a film made 45 years ago and presented on today’s high definition and high resolution formats. The audio which is especially important for a film such as this is presented in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Original 2.0 Theatrical Mix is again supercalifragilisticexpialidotious!

The real treat with this release is all of the Bonus Materials included on the disc. Disney had an opportunity to present all it could with this two disc set including the adaptation of the timeless film to the stage. A ton of behind the scenes footage and making of the play pieces entertain audiences old and young alike.

This is a fantastic collection of film and history for long time fans or newcomers to one of Disney’s best and most fun adventures!
