It is being reported that NASA’s Phoenix Mars Lander has spotted snow falling on the planet Mars.

This is a huge discovery for the space world, due to the fact that we have been unsure for the longest time if there was such a thing as snow on other planets.

According to NASA, the snow fell towards the planet of Mars, but vaporized before reaching the surface.

Earlier this year, the little robot recorded temperatures increasing, signling the planet going through its summer months, but since then temps have continued to fal and fluffy clouds have been documented.

Furthered evidence showing that there maybe snow in the forcast for Mars, is the fact that recent soil samples have been taken that show that moisture is present.

NASA is hoping that Phoenix will be able to set up its microphone so that we can hear Mars for the first time, before the winter months freeze it for ever.
