Rapper Kanye West is reported to be teaming up with Comedy Central to creat a new puppet show.
The Hollywood Reporter is calling the perspective show “hip-hop meets the Muppets,” and is being backed by the same group of masterminds who came up with “Crank Yankers.”
The perspective name for the new puppet show is “Alligator Boots,” and is tentatively scheduled to debut in 2009, featuring music from West as well as fellow rapper Rhymefest.
Like other puppet shows, each new show would have a new host each week, similar to the Muppets.
According to Billboard Magazine, a pilot episode of the show has already been filmed.
