The man who developed the television show The West Wing will be writing a movie based on the founders of the popular Facebook social networking site
Aaron Sorkin has stated that he will be writing a script for a movie based on the founders of the popular social networking web site Facebook.
Sorkin is a very popular screen writer, who besides writing The West Wing, has also written Charlie Wilson’s War with Tom Hanks.
He says that he is not sure how he is going to write the movie, and that he is not even sure how Facebook works.
“I figured a good first step in my preparation would be finding out what Facebook is, so I’ve started this page,” he wrote.
On the funny side, other Facebook users have been creating pages claiming to be Sorkin, a fact that the man himself finds flattering.
“I understand there are a few other people using Facebook pages under my name — which I find more flattering than creepy — but this is me. I don’t know how I can prove that, but feel free to test me,” he wrote.
Mark Zuckerberg, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes are the 3 founders of Facebook, which today has a global usership of more than 100 million people.
