Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan and singer Michael Bolton have announced to the world that their engagement is over
Nicollette Sheridan from Desperate Housewives, and singer Michael Bolton have announced their intent not to get married after getting engaged last year.
They first got engaged last year, after having an off and on relationship starting as far back as 1992.
Both Sheridan, 44 and Bolton, 54 are very successful, with Sheridan playing the role of Edie Britt in Desperate Housewives, and Bolton selling more than 50 million records worldwide.
According to reps for both, the breakup was amicable.
“Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have amicably ended their engagement,” Nicole Perna, a publicist for the actress, said in a statement.
“They appreciate your respect for their privacy in this matter,” Perna said.
Both have been married once before, Sheridan for 1 year to “LA Law” actor Harry Hamlin, and Bolton was married to Maureen McGuire for 15 years.
