American Idol standout Clay Aiken is reportedly going to be entering fatherhood as according to web site TMZ.com he will be having a child with his best friend and record producer Jaymes Foster.
Aiken is 29, and Foster is 50 years old and has produced a couple of Aiken’s records. According to reports, she is due to deliver in August.
According to TMZ, Foster was artificially inseminated but despite that, clay will be playing an active role in the child’s upbringing.
When Aiken is spending time in Los Angeles he reportedly stays with Foster in her home.
Aiken’s rep was unavailable for comment.
Foster divorced a number of years ago, and does not have kids.
