A former aid to Grammy winning singer R Kelly has testified at trial that Kelly, 41, is in fact the man on a sex tape that shows him engaging in sex with a 13 year old girl.
Lindsey Perryman worked for the R Kelly family on and off from 2000 to 2007, and testified in court that the man on the video tape was indeed Kelly.
Kelly could face 15 years if convicted on the child porn charges he is facing, and has denied from the beginning that he had sex with the girl.
The girl has also stated that it is not her on the tape, despite testimony from friends that it is in fact her.
“I didn’t want to think it was them,” she said nervously when prodded for details. She also stated that the first time she saw the tape she was unsure if the man on the tape was actually Kelly, but after seeing it again, she became sure.
“The image I saw looked exactly like Mr. Kelly,” she said, adding she was “shocked” and “disturbed” by the video.
