It is being reported by Disney that the first ever movie fictional feature film based on Disney’s wildly popular series Hannah Montana has begun shooting in Nashville.
The movie will star Hannah Montana AKA Miley Ray Cyrus, as well as other show regulars including Emily Osment, Jason Earles, Mitchel Musso, Moises Arias and Billy Ray Cyrus.
Peter Chelson is directing the film, which also includes names such as Melora Hardin, Margo Martindale, Barry Bostwick, Peter Gunn, Lucas Till and Vanessa Williams.
The movie is schedualed for release sometime in 2009.
Miley is also preparing to release her first full length album, “Breakout,” under her own name later this summer.
“7 Things,” is the name of the first single off the new album which was released to radio stations last week.
