The trial against Hollywood private eye Anthony Pellicano and fellow co-defendants is soon heading to a jury.

Pellicano is accused of many things under the law including tapping the phone lines of high profile people to gain leverage for his even higher profile Hollywood clients.

Closing arguments began by the prosecution yesterday after the two month trial that featured many Hollywood celebs. If found guilty, 63 year old Pellicano could spend the rest of his life in prison.

According to a federal prosecutor, Anthony Pellicano is a “well-paid thug.”

“Tires get slashed, computers get hacked, houses get broken into,” said Assistant U.S. Attorney Dan Saunders. “And of course, people’s phones get wiretapped.

“When you get recordings of defendants engaging in criminal activity, there’s not a whole lot they can do to get away from it,” Saunders added.

The defense is supposed to get the floor starting today.

The jury will more than likely get the case near the end of the week.
