61 year old singer Cher has stated that back in the 1980′s she had a brief passionate affair with actor Tom Cruise.
According to Cher, the affair took place in 1986, just around the time when Cruise began making a name for himself in the acting business after shooting “Risky Business.”
At that time, Cher was 39 years of age, and Cruise was a young 23.
“I was crazy about him.” Cher told Oprah Winfrey during a show featuring her. “It could have been a great big romance because I was crazy for him,” she added.
The show is to air in the U.S. next month.
Cruise has been down the isle more than once, and is currently married to Katie Holmes. The couple have a 2-year-old baby girl named Suri.
