It is being reported that supermodel Naomi Campbell has been released from a hospital in Brazil where she underwent abdominal surgery to remove a cyst.
According to her doctor, she is “completely cured.
“Everything went well,” he insisted. “There were no incidents or any problems that worried me during the operation.”
Hospital spokeswoman Mirtes Bogea said the model had “recovered very well from her surgery”.
“Doctors signed her release and she left in the afternoon in a helicopter that someone sent to pick her up,” she added.
“I would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and concern over the past week and for the fantastic service I have received at the hospital,” Campbell told PEOPLE through her rep on Friday.
The surgery took place in Sirio Libanes hospital in Sao Paulo.
