It is being reported that Amy Winehouse will not be facing charges in connection with her attempting to pervert the course of justice in the case of her husband.
A spokesman for Winehouse said she was “pleased to be discounted from the investigation and she thanks the police for their professionalism in their dealings with her”.
Whinehouse was arrested in December and then released on bail and was instructed to return for further questioning at a later date.
Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy’s husband appeared in court on charges relating to him beating up a pub landlord and then later conspiring with him to withdraw as a witness at the trial.
Amy was not in attendance due to her traveling to France for a concert.
Fielder-Civil’s mother is also quiet upset over the entire situation involving her son: “She’s a mess at the moment. I don’t think she’s visiting him much either,” said a source.
