It is being reported that style snipe Mr. Blackwell has named former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham as 2007′s worst dressed celebrity.
“In one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty ‘Posh’ can really wreck-em,” Blackwell said in his annual list of fashion fiascos among music, movie
and television stars.
Funnily enough this is not the first time that “Posh” has made the dubious list, when back in 1998, her and the rest of the Spicy hotties from Britain made the number 1 rung of the ladder on the annual report card.
In the No. 2 spot was singer Amy Winehouse with tough-girl tattoos, mini-skirts and hair piled high. “Exploding beehives above, tacky polka-dots below,”
said Blackwell.
Just behind was former child star Mary-Kate Olsen whose diminutive frame and floppy fashion “is hard to explain,” said Blackwell. “She resembles a tattered toothpick trapped in a hurricane,” he said.
This is the 48th year that Blackwell has released his worst dressed list, one that fashion icons eagerily wait for each and every year.
Blackwell knows what he is talking about also, having owned his own clothing line for 35 years.
He said this past year stands out as one of the “most disastrous fashion years in recent memory.”
