When it came to Best Original Score, the Oscar went to Nine Inch Nails front man Trent Reznor and composer Atticus Ross for their work on “The Social Network.” The Oscars were held in Hollywood last night and all the stars were out to be honored for their acting work from the previous year.
The pair had to beat out some tough competition to take home their Oscar, from Hans Zimmer (Inception), John Powell (How To Train Your Dragon) and Alexandre Desplat (The Kings Speech). The Oscar for Best Original Song went to We Belong Together (from Toy Story 3) and composed by Randy Newman.
