In a huge upset the New York Jets avenged a regular season blow out loss to the Patriots by beating the Pats in their very own back yard. Wes Welker, star receiver for the Patriots was even benched in the game, but when asked about it he said that it was the coaches decision.
Wes made headlines earlier in the week in an interview in which he said “feet” as often as he could, mocking Jets coach Rex Ryan and giving the Jets plenty of bulletin board material going into the game. He was benched for the first possession in the game for the Pats , in which Tom Brady threw a pic to Jets player David Harris.
