Pilot Error Blamed For Medical Helicopter Crash

It is being reported that federal officials have confirmed that there was no mechanical problem that caused a medical helicopter to crash earlier this month, killing a 1 year old patient and 3 crew members.
The chopper went down on October 15, in Aurora Chicago but investigators say that all the copters’ flight equipment was in working order.
This would mean that pilot error is now being blamed for the crash.
The copter hit a radio tower guy wire, and subsequently crashed into a field nearby.
“Based on what we were able to see, there were no (mechanical) problems,” said an NTSB investigator. “But it doesn’t rule it out.”
