Google has jumped headfirst into the mobile market almost a year after Apple released the tremendously popular iPhone
Google’s new phone, called G1 is manufactured by Taiwan’s HTC Corp., and is set for release next week across the United States.
The phone, with a 2-year contract will cost consumers $179, and will be available in the colours of black or bronze.
The device is pretty cool coming equipped with a touch screen, with 4 buttons and a track ball.
Unlike Apple’s iPhone, the keyboard is actually tacktile instead of virtual, a feature that many will be in favor of.
