Record Label Releases McGraw Album Without His Consent

Country singer Tim McGraw is pissed off with his record label, Curb Records, for reportedly releasing a greatest hits album without his consent.
According to McGraw, 41, he has been slaving away in the studio recording songs that he wanted to release in an upcoming album, but his label released them as part of a greatest hit package without his permission.
This would be his third greatest hits album, thus is titled “Greatest Hits 3.”
“I’m saddened and disappointed that my label chose to put out another hits album instead of new music,” McGraw said. “I’ve only had one studio album since my last hits package. It has to be just as confusing to the fans as it is to me.”
The album went on sale last Tuesday and according to the singer, this is his labels’ way of insuring that he can not leave them in due time, like he plans on doing.
“I had no involvement in the creation or presentation of this record,” he said. “Sure I love the songs and I don’t want to take anything away from all the creative people who were a part of making those records. But the whole concept is an embarrassment to me as an artist. In the spirit of an election year, I would simply say to my fans ‘I’m Tim McGraw and I don’t approve their message.’”
