HBO Films President Resigning to Launch Own Company

The President of HBO Films, Collin Callender, will be resigning from his position to start his own company.
Speaking to the New York times, Callender said he would be leaving by years’ end to begin his own entertainment company.
Throughout his term at HBO, Collin was very instrumental in the overall success of the network, as HBO productions took home more than 80 Emmys and two dozen Golden Globe awards.
“This was solely my decision to leave and return to my entrepreneurial roots,” said Callender.
To replace him, 2 executives will split his duties; Kary Antholis who will be in charge of HBO Miniseries, and Len Amato who will become President of HBO Films.
