Rams Fire Coach Linehan After 0-4 Start
September 29th, 2008 | by admin |
The ST. LOUIS Rams have fired their coach Scott Linehan 4 games into the regular season due to the club not winning a game to this point this season.
The Rams’ most recent loss was at home to the surging Buffalo Bills, who have yet to lose a game this season.
The Rams took the lead but then fell apart, eventually losing 31 to 14.
Jim Haslett, defensive co-ordinator will take over the team for now, until a fulltime replacement coach can be found.
The move to fire Linehan was made going into the Rams’ bye week, which should give the club a little time to get their act together.
A news conference is scheduled for this afternoon to officially make the announcement.
